Sea buckthorn Planted in Mongolian Desert

Korean airlines employees and other volunteers went to the Baganuur Desert to plant Sea buckthorn and siberian elms. The area has been suffering from spreading desertification due to climate change. Sea buckthorn is a hardy plant that can grown in extreme conditions, so it is a great choice for this area. There is also hope that eventually the berries can be harvested by the locals to make into sea buckthorn products.
